Season 19 of Top Gear sees Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May engage in another collection of incredible adventures, absurd stunts and dream drives, ably assisted by their mysterious racing driver, The Stig. This season, the hosts test out the Aston Martin Vanquish, SRT Viper and Lexus LFA for an incredible American road trip that takes in Las Vegas, Los Angeles and a race against some fighter planes before ending with a hair raising run to the Mexican border. The trio also race a Shelby Mustang GT5 against a train in order to find the fastest way to get from Britain to Italy in time for a soccer match. The hosts embark on one of Top Gear's legendary epic journeys in which the presenters attempt to find the source of the Nile River using three rather tired station wagons and a questionable sense of African geography. Along the way they encounter crocodile infested rivers, suspension snapping terrain and the world's worst traffic jam.

Episode List
The one with Jeremy's P45
Jeremy attempts to build a car that is even smaller than the Peel P50 and then tests it out on the streets of London before pitching his concept in the Dragons' Den. James puts the Bentley Continental GT Speed through its paces by taking it on a rally stage, while Richard Hammond drives the new Pagani Huayra hypercar before handing it over to the Stig. Golden Globe-winning Homeland star Damian Lewis goes for a spin in the Reasonably Priced Car.

The one with Supercars in California
The trio of motoring enthusiasts embark on another epic road trip, this time across western America in front-engined supercars. Jeremy Clarkson pilots the Lexus LFA, which has a spectacularly high-revving V10 powerplant, Richard Hammond gets behind the wheel of the muscular SRT Viper, and James May opts for the latest incarnation of Aston Martin's Vanquish. On their journey from Las Vegas to Palm Springs via Los Angeles, the presenters tackle racing circuits and find themselves in a race against the police, before rushing to the Mexican border - and there's a terrifying penalty for the last man to arrive. Meanwhile, Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood rolls up his sleeves to thrash the Reasonably Priced Car.

The one with The Race To Milan
Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May embark on a race from London's Wembley Stadium to Milan's San Siro, the home of Italian football giants AC and Inter. A price restriction leads Jeremy to grab the keys to a Shelby Mustang GT500, which costs the equivalent of £35,000 in America and packs a supercharged punch of more than 650bhp. James and Richard pin their hopes on the pan-European rail network in a bid to secure the prize of tickets to a top-flight football match, with nothing but a long journey home awaiting the losers. On the test track, Jeremy puts Toyota's GT86 coupe through its paces, and its promise of entertaining rear-wheel-drive handling should put a smile on his face. Plus, singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald gets to grips with the Reasonably Priced Car.

The one with Kia Cee'd Rugby
Jeremy Clarkson puts the new Kia Cee'd through a rigorous but peculiar road test featuring eels, curry, a rock legend, an American police officer and an unusual game of rugby involving James May. Richard Hammond gets behind the wheel of the Mastretta MXT, but worries about the repercussions of a comment he made in a previous episode about Mexico, the sports car's country of manufacture. Plus, three high-performance hatchbacks are driven with gusto around the test track, and Formula One driver Lewis Hamilton - who has switched from McLaren to Mercedes for the 2013 season - gets a second chance to smash the lap record.

The one with OAP transport
Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond try to solve the problems increasingly complex cars pose to an ageing population, designing a vehicle for elderly people and putting it to the test in Dorset with the help of three pensioners. Meanwhile, James May gets acquainted with the latest Range Rover in London before pitting the luxurious off-roader against an autonomous military machine in Nevada. X-Men: First Class star James McAvoy tackles the test track in the Reasonably Priced Car.

The one with Africa Special (part one)
In the first of a two-part special edition of the motoring show, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May visit Africa on a mission to find the definitive source of the Nile, the world's longest river, which spans more than 4,000 miles. The trio believe they can do a better job than explorers who claim to have discovered the waterway's starting point by travelling further and faster than previous efforts - but the only tools at their disposal are determination, ingenuity and three ageing estate cars.

The one with Africa special (part two)
Part two of two. After conquering traffic, dangerous mud slides and dubious map reading, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May conclude their quest to find the definitive source of the River Nile in Africa. The trio use a small raft to cross crocodile-infested waters and progress to Lake Victoria, where they hope to find a boat that will take them to the vast plains of the Serengeti. Then, after hundreds of punishing miles in their tired estate cars, the petrolheads make one final push to home in on their target.
