Adventure in Space and Time (DVD + Blu-ray) Combo

This fantastic one-off drama travels back in time to 1963 to see how the beloved Doctor Who was first brought to the screen. Actor William Hartnell felt trapped by a succession of hard-man roles. Wannabe producer Verity Lambert was frustrated by the TV industry’s glass ceiling. Both of them were to find unlikely hope and unexpected challenges in the form of a Saturday tea-time drama, time travel and monsters! Allied with a team of brilliant people, they went on to create the longest-running science fiction series ever, now celebrating its 50th anniversary.

WOWEE. Beyond time and space.
WOWEE. Beyond time and space. This is the real thing. Capaldi," They're all speaking with an English accent, that's not right." It's a look into 60's Britain, well London, the history of acting, TV history....it is superb. Absolutely wonderful. A glowing credit to its makers and a must for all who cherish The Doctor.

A great history of the beginnings of Dr Who
In the past I have read articles about how the Dr. Who program was developed and always found them to be interesting. This DVD does a great job of putting that history on screen and kept my attention the whole time I was watching. The actors that played the parts of the Dr. Who characters were so much like the actors in the original series it was almost like the old Dr. Who Confidential team went back to the 1960's and filmed it live. I completely enjoyed this DVD

Doctor Who: An Adventure in Space and Time
An excellent program full of nostalgia and insight to the Dr Who origin. Well written, acted, and produced. I could hardly wait for the Dvd release. I was not disappointed!
