    Season 5, Disc 1
    Episode 1: Murdoch of the Klondike
    Murdoch has become a gold prospector in the Klondike. When a woman arrested for murder asks him to help prove her innocence, Murdoch is reluctant to return to his former line of work. Meanwhile, Crabtree struggles to lead his first investigation on his own, and Dr. Ogden begins training a new coroner.

    Episode 2: Back and to the Left
    With tensions simmering between Protestants and Catholics, the police department is on high alert during an Orange Day parade. When a town alderman is shot by a sniper in the midst of the festivities, Toronto's Irish Catholic residents fall under suspicion.

    Episode 3: Evil Eye of Egypt
    When an Egyptian sarcophagus is opened at a museum exhibit, a hidden cobra delivers a fatal bite to one of the expedition's archaeologists. Further strange incidents incite rumors of a mummy's curse-and bolster sales of Crabtree's Egyptian-themed adventure novel.

    Episode 4: War on Terror
    A bomb explodes a storefront, injuring Crabtree and Higgins. Although the shop's proprietor has many enemies, government agent Terrence Meyers believes the bombing was an anarchists' attack. Murdoch and Meyers go undercover to infiltrate the group.

    The abduction of a librarian reveals that the seemingly shy young woman harbored a secret life and reunites Murdoch with a former flame. Dr. Ogden ends up on the wrong side of the law when she agitates for women's rights.

    When a hockey player dies after a fistfight with a teammate, it appears to be a tragic accident. As Murdoch digs deeper, he reveals simmering tensions among the players and team owners that could alter forever the future of the sport.

    As the dawn of the new century approaches, the team face difficult decisions about their lives. Murdoch confronts the future in more ways than one, as a scientist comes to town claiming to have made a time machine.

    Episode 1: Murdoch Air
    When a flying machine crashes into a building in downtown Toronto, killing a man, Murdoch and Crabtree are astonished to discover a pig helming the craft. The investigation reunites Murdoch with old acquaintances in an international competition for controlled flight.

    Episode 2: Winston's Lost Night
    After a night of drinking and carousing, a young man turns up stabbed to death, and his friend Winston Churchill is implicated in the crime. Murdoch accompanies Churchill as he attempts to recover his memory of the night's events and find the killer.

    Episode 3: Murdoch on the Corner
    A series of seemingly random murders leads the team to canvass a busy market corner, frequented by all manner of people. Murdoch sets up surveillance, while Crabtree goes undercover to ferret out the truth.

    Episode 4: A Study in Sherlock
    When a bank robber is shot during the course of the crime, a witness offers Murdoch valuable clues-and claims to be Sherlock Holmes. As Murdoch investigates the murder, he also tries to solve the mystery of the young man's identity.

    Toronto's mayor receives an anonymous package in the mail containing a disturbing film and a threatening message. Murdoch consults a chemist to help him find the culprit before he can release poisonous gas on the city.

    Episode 7: The Ghost of Queen's Park
    When a politician dies in a fall at the legislative building, a witness blames it on ghosts rumored to haunt the site. Murdoch looks into the politician's suspicious land deal, while Crabtree pursues his own line of inquiry against Murdoch's orders.

    The manager of the ladies wear section at Eaton Co. is found dead at the bottom of an elevator shaft. As Murdoch investigates the employees and their motives, it becomes clear that a master manipulator is at work.

    A young woman witnesses the murder of a pawnshop proprietor and becomes literally paralyzed by fear. As Julia attempts to help her, Brackenreid investigates the death of his old war buddy from an apparent suicide in prison.

    Episode 10: Twisted Sisters
    A young secretary washes up on the lakeshore, drowned and with a head wound. Soon, another educated woman is murdered in the same manner. The detectives examine the connections between the victims, starting with a mysterious symbol found with their bodies.

    Episode 11: Lovers in a Murderous Time
    The investigation of a man stabbed to death with a pitchfork is complicated by a woman's dementia, multiple confessions, and similarities to a pair of star-crossed lovers from decades earlier.

    Episode 12: Crime & Punishment
    When Darcy Garland, Julia's husband, is shot to death in his home, Dr. Ogden becomes the prime suspect. The case against her looks substantial, and her alibi proves elusive.

    Episode 13: The Murdoch Trap
    With Julia's life at stake, Murdoch, Brackenreid, and Crabtree work together to try to prove her innocence. Murdoch ends up confronting an old enemy in a game of wits.

    Episode 1: Murdoch Ahoy
    It's Victoria Day and the SS Keewatinis about to embark on her maiden voyage-but not before a potentially deadly threat arises. Detective Murdoch and Chief Inspector Brackenreid are called to investigate, and Murdoch decides to stay on board to keep an eye on the passengers, including the lovely Dr. Julia Ogden.

    Episode 2: Tour de Murdoch
    When Murdoch decides to participate in a bicycle race, he doesn't expect one of his competitors to end up dead. Meanwhile, Julia, while trying to sell her husband's house, comes home to an unexpected visitor.

    Episode 3: The Filmed Adventures of Detective William Murdoch
    A man is shot dead at the premiere of a moving picture with new sound technology-and no one notices until the lights come back on. Murdoch must delve into the burgeoning world of film to solve the murder-but not before the director decides to make a film starring Murdoch himself.

    Episode 4: Return of Sherlock Holmes
    Murdoch is called to the scene of a murder only to find another detective already there. Much to his surprise, it is the great Sherlock Holmes-or at least someone pretending to be the beloved detective. When another man is murdered in a similar fashion and a third body is uncovered, Murdoch and Holmes join forces.

    Episode 5: Murdoch of the Living Dead
    When a woman is found dead in a river, Murdoch begins investigating her husband. The man shows no emotions, and Murdoch is confused by an admission by the man's daughter. Murdoch grows more suspicious when he discovers that the man's neighbors are afraid to talk.

    Episode 6: Murdochophobia
    To treat her patients' intense fears, Julia has been using a new method that exposes them to the objects of their nightmares in hopes that their terror will diminish over time. However, after one of the patients dies from falling out of her window, Murdoch's investigation forces him to confront some fears of his own.

    Episode 7: Loch Ness Murdoch
    In the middle of a heat wave, a woman turns up dead on the beach of Lake Ontario. When it is discovered that she was a contestant of a purity pageant, the team's attention turns to her competition. But that doesn't quite explain why Brackenreid keeps talking about a sea monster.

    Episode 8: Republic of Murdoch
    When the body of a Newfoundland man is found, Inspector Crabtree-from Newfoundland himself-chases after the only suspect but can't quite keep up. When it is clear that no answers will be found in Toronto, Crabtree and Murdoch travel to the colony to solve the mystery.

    Season 7, Disc 3
    Episode 9: A Midnight Train to Kingston
    Murdoch and the team are bringing their nemesis James Gillies to the city of Kingston for his execution. But plans for the transfer do not pan out, and Gillies is put on the same car as the rest of the passengers, leaving everyone on edge.

    Episode 10: Murdoch in Ragtime
    When the director of a vocal group is found dead on the docks, Murdoch turns to the rest of the choir in search of answers. When Murdoch visits the jazz club where the singers perform, he discovers that the group has some secrets to hide.

    Episode 11: Journey to the Center of Toronto
    A jewelry shop is robbed, and the only clue is a hole in the ground that could not have been dug by hand. Murdoch is baffled when hours later another jewelry shop is robbed in the same manner. Meanwhile, a scientist in town is sharing her research on an intelligent species living in the hollows of the earth.

    Episode 12: Unfinished Business
    When a man on his deathbed confesses to murder, Murdoch and the team find the bones of his victim. However, after Dr. Grace examines the remains, there seem to be some inconsistencies in the man's story. Murdoch and Julia partner up to solve the crime, and as they delve deeper into the investigation, the mystery begins to resemble a cold case from their past.

    Episode 13: The Murdoch Sting
    The president of the Canadian Bank goes missing, along with his mysterious fiancée named Cassie Chadwick. But when reports come in of multiple Cassie Chadwicks in the area, it seems that this case could be one of mistaken identity. Crabtree and Murdoch find themselves grappling with romantic challenges as the team concocts a plan to find the truth.

    Episode 14: Friday the 13th, 1901
    Julia, Emily, and several of their friends venture to a cabin on a secluded island to celebrate a bachelorette party. What was supposed to be a carefree time away from the city suddenly turns dark when one of the party is found dead. Back home in Toronto, Crabtree challenges a rival to a curling match.

    Episode 15: The Spy Who Came Up to the Cold
    At the Pan-American Exposition, the president of the United States is shot. While the president barely clings to life, Murdoch and the rest of the team set out to find the group behind the assassination attempt. Murdoch soon discovers that this conspiracy is much more complicated than he could have known.

    Episode 16: Kung Fu Crabtree
    A group of Chinese officials are in town searching for rebels who have fled to Toronto. At a dinner with local police, one Chinese official is murdered and Crabtree is put on the case. But as he gets to know the prime suspect, Crabtree wonders if he is innocent.

    Episode 17: Blast of Silence
    When a big-name industrialist is found atop a telephone pole with a noise-activated bomb strapped to him, Murdoch and the team do all they can to keep the area quiet. Then the mayor of the town is found in a similar situation, and Murdoch knows he must find the culprit before these men become martyrs in the name of progress.

    Episode 18: The Death of Dr. Ogden
    Crabtree and Brackenreid are on the case to find the killer of a talented competitive puzzle-solver. However, when no clear suspect emerges, the pair is forced to muddle through a puzzle of their own. Meanwhile, Julia visits her father, only to learn that he has passed away.

    Season 8, Disc 1
    Episode 1: On the Waterfront, Part One
    When a businessman is bludgeoned to death in the dining room of the Queen’s Hotel, the crime points to the O’Shea brothers and their dockyard gang-the same men who brutally beat Inspector Brackenreid. As the police go to war against the O’Sheas, Julia and Emily start a fight of their own, agitating for women’s suffrage.

    Episode 2: On the Waterfront, Part Two
    While Murdoch continues his investigation of the O’Sheas and their boss, Brackenreid also pursues them⠀”outside the bounds of the law. In the aftermath of their protest, Julia, Emily, and their fellow suffragettes face charges in court.

    Episode 3: Glory Days
    While in Toronto, legendary American lawman Bat Masterson spots Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid at a boxing match. He agrees to assist the constabulary in hunting down the outlaws, despite Murdoch’s reluctance.

    Episode 4: Holy Matrimony, Murdoch!
    With their wedding fast approaching, Murdoch and Julia are distracted by the plight of a woman on trial for killing her husband. When new evidence comes to light, the two set about reinvestigating the crime even as they walk down the aisle.

    Season 8, Disc 2
    Episode 5: Murdoch Takes Manhattan
    While on their honeymoon in New York City, Murdoch and Julia stumble onto a mystery that may have dire consequences for the country. Back in Toronto, Inspector Brackenreid and Dr. Grace tackle the case of a dead man run over by a motor car.

    Episode 6: The Murdoch Appreciation Society
    When a corpse is discovered in a public park, evidence found on the man’s body leads Murdoch down a twisty path of clues, both real and counterfeit. Meanwhile, Crabtree hunts for a cadaver gone missing from the medical school.

    Episode 7: What Lies Buried
    During renovations of the police station, workmen dig up a body buried in the building’s cement. When the dead man is identified as a constable who disappeared in 1881, the tables are turned as the cops become the suspects.

    Episode 8: High Voltage
    When a man is electrocuted to death by his own invention, the investigation takes Murdoch to a spurious science emporium and an old acquaintance, Mr. Thomas Edison.

    Episode 9: The Keystone Constables
    Comedian Bert Grady is shot to death in a dark alley after a killer performance. Although Grady was a hit onstage, he was hated by his fellow vaudevillians, leaving Murdoch with a cast of suspects-including a young W.C. Fields.

    Episode 10: Murdoch and the Temple of Death
    The body of man in the river leads Murdoch and Crabtree to a mysterious, Byzantine-type structure known as the "Temple of Death" in local lore. Murdoch seeks the help of a friend, archaeologist Dr. Iris Bajjali, in searching for a revered relic within its walls.

    Episode 11: All That Glitters
    A surveyor for the railroad collapses at the feet of Crabtree and Higgins, gasping out his last words: "eagle flight." Murdoch and Crabtree trek into the woods of Northern Ontario to follow the trail of the deceased.

    Episode 12: The Devil Wears Whalebone
    Fashion claims a victim when a brick thrown through the window of a corset shop strikes a young model in the head. Although the blame appears to lie with protesters against the garment, Murdoch finds that the crime has more threads to unravel.

    Season 8, Disc 4
    Episode 13: The Incurables
    In the isolation ward at the asylum, a nurse is murdered by one of the "incurables," criminally insane murderesses. Despite the danger to herself, Julia is determined to find out who killed the nurse and how.

    Episode 14: Toronto’s Girl Problem
    Dr. Grace recognizes a stabbing victim as the hostess of a party she had attended the night before. Emily goes undercover to infiltrate the dead woman’s shoplifting ring, while Inspector Brackenreid’s nephew makes his mark as the station’s newest constable.

    Episode 15: Shipwreck
    A devout young woman’s murder unexpectedly reunites Murdoch with his childhood mentor, Father Keegan. As the two work together to solve the crime and locate a missing priest, Murdoch recalls a formative event from his youth.

    Episode 16: Crabtree Mania
    When wrestling champion "Handsome" Randolph Henderson dies after a match, Crabtree suspects foul play and requests to look further into the incident. Meanwhile, the suffragettes debate whether to align with the temperance movement to gain more votes.

    Episode 17: Election Day
    Tensions run high on Election Day, and when a man is strangled to death shortly after voting, the murder may have implications for national security. Crabtree receives exciting news, while the suffragettes scramble to rectify a mistake on the ballots.

    Episode 18: Artful Detective
    As bodies pile up in the morgue, the victims killed in different ways but most missing the same macabre trophy, it appears that a sequential killer is on the loose in Toronto. While Murdoch hunts for the culprit, Crabtree deals with a perilous situation of his own.
