Created by three-time Emmy® Award-winner Tom Fontana, Academy Award®-nominee Will Rokos, and executive produced by Barry Levinson, BBC AMERICA's highest- rated original drama series returns for a second season. Veteran actor Donal Logue (Sons of Anarchy, Max Payne) joins the COPPER cast this season as a General who has recently returned from the battlefields of the Civil War to his station in Five Points. The political boss of the Sixth Ward is reasserting himself as one of the most influential and powerful men in the city's political machine. Meanwhile, Detective Kevin Corcoran struggles to keep the untamed, post-war city in line while dealing with the horrible truth about what happened to his wife and child - and his best friend's betrayal. As he attempts to rebuild his life, those around him strive to find their place in the American saga - be it for good or evil.

Bring it back!
I am so, so sad that this show was canceled. It has a richness and depth in characters and story that can be expected from BBC, tackling an era of history rarely explored in television dramas. The acting is absolutely superb as well. The sets are more than believable, they're beautiful and immersive. Great show!

Wonderful drama.
I really enjoyed this series and I am so sad it was cancelled. The plight of the characters mixes so well with the period of our country's history. I wish BBC America will reconsider and bring this intriguing show back!

copper season 2
I enjoyed the series so much when it ran on BBCAmerica that I had to have it for my personal library.  I am extremely disappointed that they decided to cancel it after just 2 seasons as it was a great look at a period of history that is barely covered in school.  Everyone has heard of Tammany Hall but this is the first time anyone brought life into a period of history that was filled with corruption and the people who were part of it.
