Best sitcom ever!
I watched the entire series on British TV when it first aired and have sat on old VCR copies for years, I am soooo pleased to have just recently received the entire series on DVD. This is without doubt the very best English Sitcom ever. If this kind of comedy appeals to you then you should consider Only Fools And Horses, which I believe was voted the greatest comedy series ever...maybe so, but it's a tough call!

Hilarious, delightful, watch it again and again!
I introduced my husband to this show and it is one of our favorites! Avid gardners and want-to-be homesteaders ourselves we can often sympathise with the day to day trails of the Goods. We've even taken to calling ourselves (wishingly) Tom and Barbara from time to time...plus quoting Margo and Jerry whenever we can. Truly a comedy that has stood the test of time, you won't regret getting to know these neighbors. Very nice quality DVDs, easy to navigate menu, and some very winning features.

Charmingly funny
It's a show I've been wanting to watch again for years! It was a program we were able to catch on our local PBS station, and while I didn't get to see as many episodes as I would have loved to, I can hardly wait to enjoy the show the whole way through. 20 years later, I still want to try and live life as Tom and Barbara did.
