Wonderful story & great acting
Thoroughly enjoyed this DVD series. Acting is superb and the characters are so interesting. The writers did an excellent job of the stories. The period costumes are so well done. This is probably one of the best series I've ever seen!

Larkrise to Candleford
Great acting, lovely costumes, and the story lines are great. I like shows that based on a simpler time of life without sex, violence and bad language.

It Does Not Get Better Then This!
We are still watching episodes. But from what we have seen so far, it does not get better than this. Two towns co-existing side by side, one upper class and the other struggling working class find ways to help each other in time of need.
