Episode 1
Alan's regains consciousness, and he and Celia set a date for their wedding. Alan plays down his condition, but he has been told that he won't survive another heat attack. Things between Caroline and John become when she finds him with Judith. To retaliate, she invites Kate to move in. Gillian and Alan's relationship takes a hit when he finds out she's slept with John. He reveals to Celia that Gillian had an abortion when she was fifteen. It broke Eileen's heart. Two weeks later, Gillian discovers a registry card with a marriage date for Alan and Celia much closer than she would have expected.

Episode 2
Gillian angrily interrupts Alan and Celia's wedding ceremony, unnerving Celia. She later apologises, but lashes out at Celia, upsetting Alan. Raff explains that Ellie is pregnant. Alan tells Celia that he'll have to help Raff financially while he is in school. Celia understands, but makes it clear that she'll have to help Caroline out financially over buying the house from John. John is desperate now that his publisher has dropped him. Caroline asks Kate to sell her house so she can buy John out. Kate's pleased that Caroline wants to move so quickly, and tells her she wants to have a baby.

Episode 3
Alan and Celia take a look at a bungalow that's for sale, in the hopes of escaping Gillian's fury. Robbie discovers the baby Gillian had aborted as a teenager was his. Gillian lashes out at Celia who told Robbie. Alan makes it clear that is has had enough of Gillian's increasingly unpleasant behaviour. Lawrence struggles to accept Caroline and Kate's relationship. With Kate's birthday coming up, Caroline organises a couple of nights away in a hotel. But when Kate tells her that Greg, the man she wants to father the baby, is planning to come along, Caroline realises Kate won't be dissuaded.

Episode 4
Celia is disturbed after a meeting with Judith. News reaches Alan that Maurice has died. Gillian and Alan manage to draw a line under the tension that's been mounting. Alan and Celia decide to have another wedding ceremony with all of their family and friends. Caroline takes Kate to a hotel for her birthday, where her old friend Greg shows up - the man hopes will father her child. Caroline doesn't get on with him, but Kate is determined to go through with her plan. Gillian learns she is John's muse. Judith reveals that Gillian and John slept together. Robbie punches John.

Episode 5
Celia reluctantly introduces Alan to her sister. Alan learns that bad feeling over Muriel's husband created distance between the siblings. Kate tells Caroline that she'd like to know her maternity options as a teacher - she's twelve weeks pregnant. Caroline's taken aback by the news but keeps her emotions in check. John also has news, Judith is in the early stages of pregnancy. It's another blow for Caroline. Caroline and Gillian relax at the farm. Before she knows it, Gillian tells Caroline the full truth about Eddie's death. Caroline is stunned.

Episode 6
Caroline promises to keep Gillian's secret as long as Gillian stays away from Robbie. Gillian, Calamity and Alan visit Eileen's grave on her birthday. Ted arrives, much to Alan's surprise. The men tell Robbie that he and Gillian are made for each other. Meanwhile at the hen do, Celia and Muriel clear the air. On the wedding day Alan's speech impresses family and friends. Later, Gillian is seen dancing with Robbie. Caroline is alone until Kate asks her to dance. They kiss, publicly declaring their love. The next morning, everyone seems to have found someone…

LOVE the title.
The acting is marvelous. A bit too much emphasis on the lesbian couple's relationship, but enjoy all the characters personalities.

Last Tango in Halifax - season two
I love this program - I have season 1 and 2 and hope they will do a season 3, etc. Its great to watch older folks have a life (since I'm an older folk) Thanks

Saw  this movie on pbs T.V US  l loved it this film .brought  back so many memories  the actors gave perfect  perfomances  am looking forward to seeing in the future many more comedy thrillers and drama series  thank you Marjorie Boguski
