Editorial Reviews: "Just when you think that Last Tango in Halifax can't get any better, writer Sally Wainwright manages to hook you right back in...The writing coupled with the magnificent cast continues to feed this show. There’s constant growth as characters change and move forward. This is not about happy ever after. This is about real life and the challenges that are thrown up along the way" -Guardian <br>"Full of excellent, understated performances" - Independent

Disappointing 3rd season.
I was very disappointed to see where Sally Wainwright took Caroline and Kate's relationship. After so many ups and downs, it finally became a lovely relationship. Sarah Lancashire's acting is certainly BAFTA-worthy. The introduction of "Gary" was unnecessary and annoying. The main actors were wonderful, as usual, but Sally Wainwright needs to redeem herself in season 4, if there is one.

One of the best
Anne Reid and Derek Jacobi head a sterling cast in an excellent series. Can't wait for the next episodes. Even the background shots of the English countryside are lovely.
