Penny Farthing Watch

Penny Farthing Watch

$49.98
The perfect gift for your favorite high-wheeler or daredevil! Victorians nicknamed the first real bicycle after two coins—a big penny and a little farthing—that resemble its wheels. They also toppled off it frequently, head-first and sideways. You’ll find the bike easier to handle as the face of this handsome quartz watch. Constantly in motion, its second hand is part of the front wheel, turning 1/60th around the circle per second. Easy-to-read antique-style Arabic numerals. Large, 1 " diameter face; adjustable leather straps. Battery included.

Penny Farthing watch
I just purchased a Penny Farthing watch and I'm really happy with it! It has a nice large face with easy to read numbers and the leather band is comfortable. This watch is whimsical and stylish. I love it.

Penny Farthing Watch
I believe, deep down inside me, that this watch was worn by The Prisoner, Number 6 (Patrick McGoohan, who since his passing is sorely missed), while walking around the Village. The second hand is the wheel revolving around the face of the watch. A truly wonderful item, especially for the devoted "Prisoner" fan.
